Don’t give up your power to rescue

Your powers are many. Your voice, your vote, your vocation, you’re a force to be reckoned with – a force for evil to reckon with. Your voice sets people free, advocating for the littlest babies, children in danger, the defenseless, the marginalized, the vulnerable elderly, and for freedom all around. I’ve heard people say just be silent. Don’t fight the evil; Don’t make noise; Don’t disagree; Go along. Go along with the tyrants who will punish anyone who stands up. Go along with them. Surrender your rights. Surrender your freedom. Surrender your children, loved ones, and your property. They thought they were saying let’s have peace. But they meant peace at any price, any penalty that tyrants will crush us with for resisting their stealing, killing, and destroying. During the election of 2020, I worked the month long in person absentee voting. Like many Americans, we rolled up our sleeves and did the work of assuring a fair election. We learned the election process and the technology, and prayed and ran the best campaign we could. The greatest and most rewarding charge was to empower the voters with education and a free vote. I was thrilled when voters smiled real big and used the voters guide online that I shared with them, and showed them how they could compare their ballot online with the actual ballot to assure that all the candidates’ names were there. We had some candidates from one neighborhood that were left off. Sometimes, when I worked outdoors, orienting voters as they moved through the line, we would have voters help one another out for some to sit and wait as the line moved, or to go to the bathroom. I would tell them, we’re all a big family here, and we’ll save your place, or we’ll meet your need…. Everyone would loudly agree and it was a joy to see the desire to have brotherhood and a caring community, especially among all the races. It was unforgettable. If I had avoided politics, I would never have had this connection with these folks, these neighbors of mine. One special memory is when an elderly lady stepped on the sidewalk and said she had her elderly mother in the car, and I guessed she didn’t want to leave her in the 85 degree car, and wait an hour or more in the long line. We passed about 100 people, and a man who was the next voter to cast his vote, very graciously gave the lady his place when I explained the situation. She was in and out in under 10 minutes. The kindness and brotherliness in our polling places was an expression of the people in their identity as voters in a free nation, to work for a city on a hill, to shine the light of freedom, honor, compassion, and inalienable rights given by God; The God who made people in His likeness, people who are worthy of dignity and individual freedoms. This is my experience of politics. This is why I don’t believe in peace at any price. Freedom is worth the work, and worth the struggle, worth the battle.

Faith, not Fear; Prospering during Election Season

Back in early March, I imparted the vision I had to prepare for the coming outbreak of Corona virus to encourage, inform, and equip friends.

Election season approaches, and I share action points to partner with God for your family and communities, through various Christians and research organizations, as Father God has revealed.

Keep up your Strength. Keep up your strength with spiritual health. Read your Bible, worship, dance in worship everyday if you can. Physical Health-Drink lots of water, eat as naturally as you can, avoid sugar and junk food, as Covid-19 uses sugar to cause respiratory inflammation.  Take vitamin D, vitamin C, and zinc.  Hydroxychloroquine is available through frontlinedoctors Exercise daily in the sunshine if possible. Keep up your mental health: start the day with reading a whole Bible chapter; watch news sources that are not fear mongering, are ProLife, focus on Solving problems and God’s power; don’t watch the news all day every day; watch the reliable news source at night.

Community Marriage-Be kind to your spouse, and keep talking about how you feel about everything, or as men say, what they think about things. Remind each other what you like and love about one another. Children-Impart to them the truth that God will never leave them nor forsake them; You will always be there as much as it depends on you; The children can pray for you and for your marriage; Life is beautiful and life also has trials; God’s Word has what they need to live; God will connect with them every day as they pray, worship, study, work, care for others, especially the needy; God has a powerful and unique destiny for them; God has eternal life for those who follow Him, through Jesus, His son, and through the power of the Holy Spirit. Read classic books aloud (Narnia, The Hobbit, Heidi, and more…) Play music together, however basic or advvanced. Focus on being kind to everyone around you. Hold onto Humor-Share about 2-4 jokes, or funny stories, or memories for every serious conversation with family or friends. Join Zoom communities twice a week or what you can manage. Pray for blessings on family, and strangers, simply and caringly, even out loud In Person; Everybody really appreciates kindness and caring right now.

SUSTENANCE Prepare food sources for 3 weeks, approximately, in case of civil unrest, and grocery stores shutting down. Canning meat and veggies in sauces, in a pressure cooker with your favorite spices, can be a warm, tasty, hearty meal and bring normalcy and strength in a microwave, stove, or campfire. Canning anything is powerful! Canned goods, fresh and dried fruit, and lots of water, strengthen our sweet families. Kale chips and Pickled eggs, anyone?

HYGIENE Purchase a bidet, or purchase squirt bottles and cut up small, washable cloth drying squares (half of a washcloth) to collect in a small hamper. Toilet paper will be in demand again, and bidets or squirt bottles will save finances, time, and headaches.

SAFE VOTING Join She Prays She Votes to join virtual hands with other Mamas and families who treasure faith, family, and freedom. Good advice for people who feel unsafe about voting in person but now fear the USPS will be unable to deliver a “mail-in” ballot in a timely fashion. There is a way around it: 1. Request a mail-in ballot.2. Do not mail it.3. Google your supervisor of elections to see where you can drop off your mail-in ballot. Its usually NOT THE POLLING PLACE. All states allow this! Here is what you’re accomplishing by doing this:1. You’re not relying on the USPS to get your ballot in on time, so no matter what, your ballot gets in on time.2. You don’t have to worry about standing in long lines and risking infection. You’re just stopping by to drop it off.3. You still voted! Hooray! Also, when you drop it off find out how to track it online to make sure it is verified. California, Oregon, Washington Colorado have systems that can track your ballot just like tracking a package from Amazon.***This is very important and I would appreciate everyone who sees this to copy it on their page.
